Jay Goodwin Case Study

We were hired by Jay Goodwin's father to give Jay a much needed
boost in his cadet karting. Because Jay is particularly well built,
many karting experts had advised his team that he didn't stand
much chance to compete at a high level.
We looked at Jay's driving and made a few technical adjustments
and worked hard at improving his confidence. Jay is an energetic
individual and has a great deal of spare mental capacity whilst
driving, revealed by his habit of looking way ahead through corners
and occasional distractions!
Also, Jay's undoubted physical presence and strength needed to
be treated as an asset. Once Jay realised his physicality could
be a huge advantage his confidence went through the roof, helping
take victory at his very next race at Three Sisters.
More recently we worked with Jay to further improve his driving
accuracy and racecraft using Dartfish video analysis, and helped
jay further develop his superb attitude and 'never say die' approach
